A very nice cosy pub and the lady behind the bar was friendly and welcoming. They offer a good range of beer including local beers and it is the location is beautiful. Recommended if you are looking to have a beer during your travels.

Surprised to read reviews saying staff and locals are not friendly. Not my experience at all. Started in this pub at 5pm, we went around town and ended up back here to finish. Had a great night, was never felt to be unwelcome at all.

A lovely pub that is not tied to any brewery or otherwise - a proper freehouse. Three ales on, I think revolving. At least one from N Wales, an ale from Cwrw Llyn seemed to always be on, also saw Butty Bach from the Wye Valley Brewery. It has a lovely interior, good staff and full of friendly people. It was not doing food when we visited. Plenty of outside seating if the weather is good.

Nice little pub. Came here for few drinks with the Mrs on Saturday night. Lovely service, forgot the name of the lady who served us but she made our evening a good one. Ale that i had which was butty bach. This went down too quick and too good! Will be back again before we leave from this beautiful place.
