Didn't realise that there was a quiz on but was pleasantly surprised.
Food service wasn't the quickest, about 40 min wait but wasn't the end of the world as it allowed for quiz time.
Food quality was good and very well priced.
Will be returning soon, the pub looks a lot

Busy, but I was served quickly. Friendly staff. The refurb is nice and tastefully done. The new menu is good.
Took the family for lunch. The Pub/Restaurant was busy but we got a table promptly. The food was nice and quick especially in a pub, which was a very nice surprise. The chicken wings and ribs were terrible, burnt and extra crispy, like been thrown in a deep fryer. The prawn cocktail was drenched in
Affordable, reasonable food compared to area pubs by a substantial margin, lovely staff, always friendly. All sports generally on, and events/things to do as well, a good local.
It was very busy but we were pleased with the service.The food was well cooked and enjoyed it. Our only complaint was our apple crumble was cold but it didn't detract from a very pleasant lunch time.
Nice family friendly pub/restaurant. Food is pretty good and haven’t had any complaints so far. They have an outdoor kids area with a slide and also a little kids area inside for smaller kids. They have booths with tv in the wall. Good choices on the menu and plenty of kids options. Prices are cheap
Really enjoyed my visit here for the fa cup final. Table service was excellent. Staff were friendly and service was fast for a packed out pub and pub garden 👌
