What a lovely little place this is and just what Devizes needed. I’ve been here 3 times since it opened and loved every visit.
The restaurant area is open, fresh, bright with a Mediterranean vibe about it. I love sitting in the bay window looking out over the market place, it’s a great view.
The tapas menu is not only extensive, it is also very reasonably priced with dishes ranging from £2.75 up to £10. I’ve had breakfast, lunch and dinner in here and all were very lovely meals.
For breakfast I had Galician bread with tomatoes and cheese. I was going to order 2 portions but when I saw the portion size I stayed with one 🙂 It was lovely and the coffee is really good as well. When I had lunch there the Spanish omelette with aioli was again spot on. My evening meal in there was potato bravos, calamari, aubergine roasted in honey and Spanish omelette again. All lovely. I also liked the chilled water on the table. I saw someone get a paella while I was there and it looked fantastic.
My only criticism is they open at 10. Certainly on Thursdays, market day, they should open at 9. Missing a trick there maybe? There were a few teething problems with staff/orders but that is to be expected and I’m sure will be ironed out very quickly as they get used to things. All in all a lovely place and well worth a visit.
A lovely evening with my wife. Very relaxed and it will take me time to adjust to Spanish pace! The food was really good with a huge selection of things to try. Looking forward to going back again. There was a small problem with the bill (wrong number of drinks) but it was quickly sorted.
Very lovely place! Reasonable prices, great value Spanish wines, comprehensive menu. We're going back soon.
