We went for lunch today and had the blue cheese and peppers ciabatta, and a ham and cheese toastie. Both of them were absolutely amazing! The combination of flavours was perfect. We also took some homemade white chocolate cake and banoffe pie home, both extremely good! The new owner is lovely and made us feel at home. It's also dog friendly! We will definitely come back!

Amazing cafe in Dalkeith- just as well as it was the only thing open there today 🤔. Friendly staff, lovely interior, good cakes though most looked a bit tired - lavender one as well but very tasty. Toastie was amazing and coffee very good. Would recommend and we will be back.

Lovely little cafe! Bright, spacious, and clean. Staff were polite and attentive. Vegan-friendly and baby/buggy friendly too (there is just one step to get in through the front door) and a couple of high chairs available for use. Veggie options can be made vegan with vegan butter and cheese. There is also always 1 or 2 vegan cakes available. And oat milk for drinks. I had an iced oat latte which was delicious and served in a glass with a paper straw, and a toasted ciabatta. I had to feed my baby after this and the lovely staff offered me some water while I was breast-feeding which was a really nice gesture and much appreciated. There is one unisex disabled toilet with a baby changing station - immaculately clean. Will definitely be back again soon! :)
