A very pleasant lunch here. Friendly service and great food. I had chicken tikka nan bread which was very nice and my girlfriend had a coronation chicken jacket potato. My girlfriend said it was “the best coronation chicken she’d ever had.”

We booked afternoon tea for quite large group and were all thoroughly impressed and delighted. Lots of delicious homemade food! And a great variety. We couldn't finish and had to take some home in boxes. The staff were attentive and friendly and they were very accommodating of the different dietary needs of our group. All in all we had a wonderful afternoon and would be delighted to come back in future.

What a great wee cafe this is.. Staff are always friendly and helpful, food is excellent and portions very generous. That cream of beef taco soup was off the scale! And don't get me started on the cakes.. Awesome! Our go-to place when in Dalbeattie. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
