We were taken to Sutor Creek by our son, whilst visiting for our anniversary meal.
I was highly impressed by the restaurant. As well as doing great pizzas, some of which were very different but very good, they also do really lovely food. I started with potted shrimp and oatcakes, my wife and son's partner had the cullen skink and my son had the white bait. I loved the potted shrimp, but wish i had picked the white bait, with the marie rose sauce. For main i had the braised ox check, which just fell apart and was really succulent, My son had the Seafood pizza, which was delicious he said, had, mussel, calamari, etc on it, his partner had the black isle pizza, which had haggis, black pudding etc and a fried egg on it, was delicious as well, as i had a bit. For dessert i had the honeycomb lemon posset. All in all the meal was delicious, the selection of local artisan beers and cider was excellent, cannot rate this place highly enough. They even catered for my wives olive oil allergy, which is really hard if you think they cook breads and pizza. we will definitely be back
BEST pizza place in the area. Well worth choosing to drive to Cromarty for pizza here, than stay in Inverness & eat pizza there. Never have I tasted pizza with so much flavour in one bite, cooked perfectly every single time I've been there - perfection! Big shout out to my colleague for telling me about this place! Otherwise I would never have had a favourite pizza restaurant to go to!
Quite honestly, the best pizza I have ever tasted. Lovely, friendly staff and the sound and smell of the wood burning made it all the better. Highly recommend and most definitely be back. A little gem.
