Lovely Sunday roast dinner here today. Visiting the Village for the Scarecrow and Music Festival. Lady in the Post Office recommended you for food. The pub was packed inside and out but barman found us a table. The kids meals were huge and heartily eaten up. £3.25 for their roasts were a bargain. Very friendly bar staff. Lovely olde pub. Wish you were closer to where we live!

Very unpretentious traditional pub in fact quite old fashioned, I was unsure about the quality until saw the menu and they had the biggest vegetarian menu I have ever seen and such unusual dishes. I chose a veggie main and it was quite honestly the tastiest i have ever had as was the lemon sorbet desert. And extremely good value with excellent service.
