Absolutely Outstanding. Went a few weeks ago to order food for my party. The ladies were so helpful and made a few suggestions. Ordered meat and veg samosa, chicken pakora and potato cakes. When I went collect on the day of my party then food was still warm and the car smelt lovely on the way home
🤗 needless to say all the food was a huge hit and did not last long. Will order from again. Everything was so tasty.
100% service and food
On just eat also
Ma shaa Allah, I bought 2 portions of spicy wings today to add to my noodles for lunch, absolutely delicious food. Will definitely recommend it to anyone.
A big thank you to the team, (Halal too).
I had been looking for a place, which would taste like Pakistani food, specifically from Karachi. I was in Birmingham for some business, I decided to give this place a try. I brought Chicken Samosa, Seekh Kababs, Nihari with naan, Jaleebi, Gulab Jamun, Kalakadh, Namak paray and Shakar paray from them.
Service is good. Shopkeeper was humble and accommodating. As I traveled long way, I requested them to make fresh Jaleebi for me. Which they humbly accepted. Made fresh jaleebies despite they had plenty of jaleebi on front counter.
I really loved their Jaleebi, reminded me of jaleebi I used to get from Fresco, Newtown, Karachi. Brought back good memories. They were thin, crispy and the syrup was aromatic and really delicious not overly sugary. The Gulab jamun and Kalakand were good as well. I would definitely recommend this place for Meethai lovers.
Namak paray were really fresh and crunchy with right amount of seasoning and crunch to it. However, shakar paray were a bit different from what I was expecting or I use to have as a child. Perhaps that is because they must have used the recipe from another region. Nevertheless, it was delicious as well. I whole heartedly enjoyed those sweet nuggety goodness. Chicken Samosa on the other hand was just alright.
We had Seekh kababs, Nihari and naan for dinner. Seekh kabab were brilliant, a bit on spicy side but it was not leathery like that you often find in supermarkets or other placed. The slight hit of corriander seeds balanced and brought the whole spices together. Naan were really good. I couldn't eat them fresh, I bet they would have tasted amazing when they were hot and freshly cooked. Nihaari was overall good, much better than what I have had in Bristol and other cities. However, I did not like the use green corriander in it. Usually it is up to the people, to add corriander leaves, lemon and ginger on the top if they like it. I do not like Corriander in my Nihari so that was a bit turn-off. Otherwise, it was really good. We enjoyed it a lot!
My overall experience was good, I was really pleased with the items I bought. Whenever, I visit Birmingham or place nearby, I am definitely going to go there and try other items of their menu.
If you miss Pakistani food, do try them. It is a bit on the spicy side but it is really delicious. Value for money. Good experience.
