We went to have dinner and ordered a variety of dishes including pork ribs, rump steak, onion rings, garlic bread, and chicken skewers. To our surprise, all the food items were delicious and cooked to perfection. Unlike many other restaurants and pubs where steaks are often overcooked, we decided to play it safe and ordered one rare and one medium-rare. We were pleasantly surprised that both steaks were cooked exactly as requested, and the quality of the meat was excellent. Although some parts of the steaks had a slightly charred taste, the staff were super accommodating with our request for additional sauce.
The pork ribs were exceptionally tender, flavourful and fell off the bone. The onion rings were crispy and very tasty. The satay chicken skewers were moist and very flavourful also. The dining area was clean, spacious, and the other patrons were friendly. We had such a great experience that The Colyton Hotel will definitely be one of our regular go to places for a feed.
Customer service was absolutely phenomenal (especially by the guy). Service was just super friendly and hospitable. We changed our table after we placed our order and none of the staff made a deal of it and more that happily redirected all our food to our new table.
Currently in the middle of reservations and my order was not fulfilled via the QR code ordering and was delayed compared to the rest of our party. In saying that, they could not have gone above and beyond to fix the error and were so apologetic and made sure I was looked after. I'm glad I decided to definitely wait for my meal and eat after all because the meal was delicious. I ordered the Steak & Ribs which was cooked perfectly. Sorry I don't have any pics to prove it but it was fantastic.

Bistro area & amenities have been renovated tastefully. Food is always fairly good. Free trivia Tuesdays, with themed trivia last Tuesday of the month.
