Quite a small niche restaurant, but perfect for what the owner seeks to create.
Good pre visit communications. On arrival, it's hidden through an archway but lovely looking when you arrive.
Nicely greeted and taken to my table. It's only a small menu, but it's tapas like and there is enough choice to make it worth a visit.
My savouries were a prawn dish followed by a fish dish then lamb.
If you get the right table you get to watch the staff prepare your food, which was nice to see, not the first time but good to do.
All three of my savoury dishes were delicious, loved the sea bream best but all three were nice.
Dessert choices were again limited but my chocolate dessert was gorgeous. Service was rapid but the courses didn't arrive instantly so there was enough of a moment between to relax before the next food. The waiter was very helpful and advised as to the number of choices wise to get for newbies.
The decor is very nice and not in your face, I like the emphasis on wood. If I were to leave free any criticism it would be it's not the easiest I have ever been to, but it's well worth making the effort.
The toilet was beautifully presented and very clean, a good indicator to owners attitude.
Thanks for the experience I really enjoyed it
Ps ludicrously good value
