What a fantastic pub! Giving four stars as all the hand pumps were off which was a pity but... staff were great and actually appeared to enjoy working here. The building is an absolute gem and the outside areas are nicely planted. The locals were friendly and there's happy hour 7 days a week from 5pm. On the downside we live 50 odd miles away or this would become my local.

Just had Sunday dinner here and it was idyllic. Beautiful venue, great staff and service. I went for the roast beef, thick sliced, tender, slightly pink....perfection:)
