Absolutely superb food and drinks (the vegetable Wellington being one of the best my partners ever eaten!) In a lovely setting served by humble yet amazing staff. A round of applause to the barmaid and the chef who really couldn't have done more to make our visit memorable 😀

Just reopened after nearly two years, popped in for a Sunday roast and was very pleased with the food and service. Great menu and value for money. George and the team very welcoming and attentive. The chef also introduced himself and asked how the food was - a nice touch. Great beers and ales on offer. Highly recommended and I wish the new management/owners all the best in their new venture. Cheers!!

We popped in today because we wanted a big late breakfast and couldn't get it in the café's nearby so we literally popped in on the off chance they may do something. It was a fantastic full English breakfast for me and an equally good small breakfast for my wife. It was quiet but I have no idea why as we would eat here again.
