Used to come here every week when we lived next door. This is the first time visiting in years. Amazing what they have done to it, lots more seats and space now. I've never had food here before so tried the fish and chips, they were lovely and came really quick. The staff were friendly, there were two dogs there, so well behaved. Definitely come back again.
Had a lovely meal and the two dogs were welcome too. I had the minted lamb burger. Delicious. My partner had a pasta bake. She loved it. Very nice pub. Recommend it.
Stopped for a drink on our mini tour of Shropshire . More of an historic local pub than anything else. When we arrived we were told that there's a BBQ later as part of the celebrations,so no food.
The town is celebrating I think an 800yr anniversary so had flags out of Lords house's of the local area. Had stopped for a bit of lunch and didn't want to stay for hours so we moved on.
