Great food, lots of choice, service was good, although we received our food after people on the next table who ordered after us. Reasonable price and well done out inside. Could have been better if the fires were lit as it was a bit chilly. Lots of parking and easy access.
Really great. We'd booked breakfast in advance as we were arriving by canalboat but we were very late. Even though it was 2 minutes before closing they rustled up 7 epic Full English breakfasts and really looked after us. Great setting as well and lots of room to sit either indoors or outdoors.

Wow. Where to even begin!
We have just returned home after the most beautiful, peaceful, refreshing break here at the Cheshire Cat.
Do you ever just crave that feeling of being right at home? Then this is THAT place. Cannot fault any member of staff at all, nothing was too much trouble in fact Demi went above and beyond at dinner to look after us and our one year old. You can really see how happy the staff are to be a part of the team here.
THE FOOD. Just amazing, from the taste to the presentation - the chef here deserves so much credit, there is clearly a great attention to detail and a great pride put into each dish.
We booked the Family Quad room and were so impressed with the size of the room for the price compared to other places in and around Chester, really good value.
I was very impressed with how equipped they are for children. Ample high chairs, activity pages and colouring with crayons, and the kids menu is fantastic with so much choice.
The parking was brilliant, free (which is rare these days) and ample spaces.
We loved that there was a canal right next to the Inn which was so refreshing for an after breakfast wander.
I really just can’t fault any aspect of our trip at all. In fact I am over the moon. Can’t wait to return and see you all again.
