Beautiful restaurant in a picturesque setting. We did not have a reservation but managed to get a table after showing up for a birthday brunch. As a life long vegetarian I have never experienced a full vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Lancashire so this place from opening was always in my wish list. It did not disappoint. Service was fantastic, fantastic choice and the food 10/10! The soup of the day, carrot & cauliflower, was delicious. My 8 year old fussy eater had a try and cleared the bowl. Hallumi burger was a burst of flavour with the added sweetness from a dollop of hummus wrapped in a brioche bun with salad. Ice cream was delightful to finish off with. We were too full to try more but the cake display looked great and certainly gives me more reason to return and try those. I had one small gripe which was the parking, the car park was completely full and same on the street outside. We were forced to park quiet a distance away and disappointed that no designated disabled parking was available in the car park. Hopefully they address this in the near future.
We enjoyed a nice afternoon tea and then took a nice walk around after the rain let up. There is a lovely and peaceful view from the back of the restaurant. The food was nice. We enjoyed the soup.
Our first visit following an afternoon walk along the canal.
A good spot to stop off for a drink or an ice cream.
They also serve a vegan menu.
We just had a coffee sat outside on the terrace.
Beautiful views from the outside, especially on a sunny day.
