Amazing Italian food. Came last night on a fully booked Friday night so busy as it gets. Food arrived quickly and was piping hot and absolutely delicious. Really good value for money.
Highly recommend the carbonara. Great variety of drinks and food. Make sure you book as it is cozy and fills up quickly.
Owner and wait staff were absolutely lovely, could not have felt more welcome and absolutely delighted to support local family run business.
Went out for a fine dining experience on Friday night at PICCOLO'S RESTAURANT & PIZZERIA (situated at 90-92 Bolton St, Chorley PR7 3DX) with 11 work colleagues.
I was initially quite skeptical about this place due to the lack of parking, the fact that I don't like visiting fine dining establishments due to small portion sizes at premium prices and the often poor selection of decent halal/vegan options.
Much to my surprise, this turned out to be a splendid little place much like its name. Although somewhat compact, with low ceilings, they've made great use of the space available to them, further contributing to the ambience and rustic Italian feel of the two floors that fill this place. The music was just at the right volume so as to allow conversations between us to be audible. The waiters were smartly dressed, exuberating a "happy" aura about them and were keen to to do everything they could to please their guests, being extremely attentive throughout the course of the night (a shout out to Karim for looking after us).
For the starters, I went for the Soup of the Day which was tomato and parmesan soup served with two slices of bread and a knob of butter.
For the mains, I chose the Quattro Formagio Pizza and Chips and a Coke - all costing me £19.50
The quality of the food was a huge surprise. OMG - It was fresh & piquant, the flavours were truly something to savour and the pizza base was redolant with herbaceous flavour - an absolute delight. The whole meal was of a very superior quality. And the way the dishes were exquisitely laid out and presented, with their garnishing enticed me to order more.
I haven't enjoyed Italian cuisine so much for a long time, it was just that good and portion sizes were larger than expected. My colleagues chose other options such as Vegetable Lasagne, Risotto Marinara, Calabreze Pizza, Bruschetta and other dishes. They didn't have any negative comments at all and were more than made up by the wide selection of wines on offer.
This has to be one of the best places to eat in Chorley: amazing atmosphere, fantastic food and faultless service with staff bending over backwards, being extremely polite & courteous and making you feel valued to make your night that much more memorable and special. Highly recommended: 10/10

Very nice, have an offer on at the moment. Place was busy, even though it was a Monday evening. First time out with the Mrs for sometime, enjoyed it.
