Went this evening for my brother's birthday meal. Excellent food excellent service and excellent surroundings. Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Gluten free option wasn't a problem. Thank you so much. We will certainly come again and reccomend to our friends and family. Thank you for the biscuits and well done Leo on your second night x

A hidden gem. Was never impressed with its predecessor Alghero. However Essenza is worth every one of the five stars awarded. The place is immaculate. The welcome was warm the service impeccable. The food was of an excellent standard. Arrived timely on hot plates and was presented well. The specials were varied and reasonably priced. The desserts were mostly billed as "home made" which I've experienced elsewhere only to discover they were mass produced cash and carry specials. Essenza on the other hand produced a gorgeous desserts that was fabulous and sumptuous!!! My only complaint was the portion sizes were ridiculously large!!!! We will be returning as often as my waistband will allow. Sensational.

Visited on Sunday for 2nd time. Place was busy which was nice to see as it was empty as last time we went. Our server was a gem and I felt confident enough to go for the fillet steak with pepper sauce and all trimmings and it was cooked perfectly and the sauce was tasty. Really enjoyed it and the atmosphere so will be back again for more
