In a picturesque village of thatched and flint houses, the Wheatsheaf is a quaint old pub with garden and a vintage shop upstairs. I had black squid ink ravioli which was one of the best meals I have ever tasted. Beautifully presented and so delicious. The carbonara looked delious too and the asparagus was cooked to perfection. I commotion rate this place higher. The staff were very professional too. Thank you. Only wish you did a bus back to Newbury and I'd be there all the time!

Fantastic, great village pub and excellent food. Decent service too... and a pint of Oranjeboom (disguised as a pint of "Wheatsheaf") for half the price I pay in Soho! :-)
