Best place to go and eat in chesterfield. Sometimes we go and can’t get a table to eat which we don’t mind as we know how popular it is.
Love the fact that it’s cash only. People need to stop being lazy and go get cash out before they go, if things carry on cash will disappear and every penny you spend will be tracked, I think I’d rather stick with cash thanks.
I also think the staff are brilliant and do a very good job (even though that’s not enough for some people who expect table service, like the staff aren’t busy enough) especially the kitchen who never disappoint despite working in a kitchen which is the size of a broom cupboard.
If people want cheap, cheerful food with table service there’s a whetherspoons over the road, I prefer paying that bit extra and having next level food.
Keep up the good work guys
Great food. Best in Chesterfield. Can recommend the haggis. Awesome. Small pub. Big menu. Great food. Good beers.
Impressive real ale selection located in the centre of chesterfield. Booked for food on a Saturday night, all our meals were good particularly enjoyed the haggis starter rare to see it outside of Scotland. Our pie and burger mains were also good. Visited in October and it was cold inside so would fancy it during winter, whether they didn’t have the heating on or what we weren’t sat near to the door. Overall a good traditional pub that does quality great value food.
