Guroma is a stall in the food court of the market, so you grab a table and then select which stall you want, like Italian, sea food or in my case for a good curry, Guroma. I’ve eaten their food on my only two visits to the food court they will be my go to choice for visit number three. On both occasions I ordered what is best described as the curry of the day. It costs about £10 for a small oval dish with a base of rice, some simple salad tucked in the one corner and the most gorgeously flavoured meat (chicken on both occasions). It’s not fiery, just pleasantly spiced and flavoursome. If the food cannot be served immediately, they’ll give you a buzzer which goes off when the food is ready for collection. The staff always seem pleased to serve you too. They sell cold drinks too (there’s a separate bar for alcoholic drinks if you so desire). Highly recommended.

Lovely little halal food kiosk in the middle of the bustling Chester Market. Very hospitable staff and explained the menu items. Little bit more deshi style bhaisaab 😁😁😁!!! understandable, though, given the majority of the patrons probably couldn't handle the spice....or could they???

Delicious chicken curry. Not too hot and spicy, just right. The lime pickles and pickled onions add to the flavor. A pint of beer from the nearby bar, great music and the neat row of tables in a courtyard that lets the sun in...... wonderful atmosphere and environment.

I’ve eaten here a few times in the new chester market and the food has always been fantastic value, well presented and really tasty. It’s one of my favourites eating places in the market. Would highly recommend.
