Booked to stay here last night as a surprise for my husband for our 20th wedding anniversary and also booked afternoon tea. The service was impeccable from start to finish. All the staff seemed happy in their work and were friendly with all the customers I saw there. On arrival at the hotel our bag was taken at the door, then the kind lady who checked us in told us they wanted to make our stay even more special so they had upgraded us. The waiter for our afternoon tea was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. He looked after our every need. This has to be one of the most relaxing environments to enjoy an afternoon tea. The upgrade was to the Reay suite which was stunning, extremely comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was beautiful and yet again our every need was catered too. Thank you so much for the cake in our room too. Thank you for making our 20th anniversary one to remember for all the right reasons. I would recommend your hotel to everyone 😊🍾🎉🎊💍🎩xx

We visited on the 4th May for champagne afternoon tea to celebrate my sister’s birthday. The sandwich fillings are so tasty and you can get extra if you finish them! The cakes are amazing and the staff can not do enough for you. This was the second visit and would definitely return!

Myself and my sister are from Chester and we thought we would treat ourselves to an overnight stay here as I am getting married in 2 weeks. We had the most lovely and special time. The staff were absolutely outstanding, providing such a welcoming personal service. Our room was an executive room, very spacious and exceptional facilities. Richard the general manager insisted he took a photo of us both by the magnificent chandelier for us to remember our stay. We absolutely loved it and will never forget it. We will definitely be back. Many thanks to the staff in particular who made our stay very special and memorable. Thank you so much.
