cosy and warm local pub for Brockweir, with fireplace, outside garden, amazing home made food and even rooms for rent. spent my hneymoon next door and going to the pub in the evening was the most lovely part with the warm welcome of the villagers

Had a great time here, having a couple of pints of good local ales, and eating tasty smoked haddock with potatoes. Our bartender was very friendly and truly welcoming. This pub is a great place to start or end hikes in the area. Just be mindful of opening hours, we had to bide our time after our hike until they opened for the evening.

Stopped off for a drink while doing a walk in the forest. Nice beer garden at the back, good range of beers and ciders, very good menu and friendly staff behind the bar. An excellent place to rest your weary feet!
