I literally cannot speak highly enough of this fantastic little gem of a restaurant! We attended at the weekend for my auntie's birthday... coming from Wolverhampton, we had no idea what to actually expect aside from the reviews. Having now dined here, I can totally see why they have the glowing reviews that they do! The minute you arrive you are greeted by the owner and her staff - who go through the menu with you, advising of what people tend to do; what's good value for money but obviously, you can have what you want. Their sharer option is fantastic and for me and my partner, satisfied our appetite to the point that dessert was a struggle - and I'm all about the cake mate! Literally every single dish was brilliant with some dishes being even more delicious than others - but everything was so tasty that you were just happy to plough on through; whether full or not! Amazingly fresh flavours, food made with love and genuine care. You felt like you had gone to someone's home for a gourmet meal! But what topped off our night was just the attention to detail in terms of how we were treated - rare to get such amazing service from every single person. We couldn't wait to leave them a tip and promise them to return because they were such lovely people! If you love to try lots of really good food and be guided through with a genuine, funny and caring hand - you have to book a table here! You won't be disappointed!
An amazing restaurant..... the attentive staff and Lou (front of house and joint owner) made the place extra special and you felt like you were more then just an ordinary customer, more like a guest invited to dinner.
We are fairly new to Tapas style dining and Lou talked us through the menu and made sure we knew what we were doing and the best options for ourselves and our six year old son ( Lou made him a special drink which he loved and asked to order another! )
The food was gorgeous, varied and cooked to perfection. The tequila sunrise I ordered was the best I've ever had, you could actually taste the alcohol and it only had the minimum amount of ice in it so you didn't feel cheated out of a decent drink and you could appreciate the flavours of the cocktail.
The waitresses were all really lovely, chatty and spoke to our little boy frequently.
Wish we lived in the area so we could become regular patrons, but sadly not.
A small intimate space.... we loved it!
This is easily one of the best restaurants I have ever visited in the UK!
The food was fresh and amazing, the owners were such nice people, chatty but without being intrusive and the place is simple and beautiful, but most important, spotless clean. The price was also good value.
If you are nearby you do need to come by and give it a try, you are going to love it.
