Excellent venue for a wedding reception party .
All food was delicious and good value for money .

The Bowling Green is one of my favourite places to visit for a meal.
The staff are very knowledgeable and welcoming and keep the entire operation ticking over very smoothly.
The food is absolutely top notch.
I did notice that the gentleman who was in charge of carving the ham, turkey and beef had his technique down to a fine art.
If his instruction from the Management was to ensure that the meat was served in as thin a portion as possible, then he's certainly mastered his craft.
I do realise pubs have to stay on the right side of profit, but customers may probably appreciate a little extra for their buck.
On the whole though, very good.
