Lived in Old coulsdon 2 years and first time trying this tonight, without a shadow the freshest nicest fish &chips I have had in area, no old chips that have been lying in old oil, all cooked fresh and friendly nice service,highly recommend.

Having a really good chippy close to one's home is one of those fundamental things that, in a small way, makes family life so much more satisfying. You would need to travel a very long way to beat the quality here. This evening was my first visit. The shop couldn't be cleaner - a really good start. And the fish exquisitely cooked. There is nothing worse than overcooked fish. The owner clearly is an expert. He told me that a light fluffy batter means that the fish can be cooked to perfection. And it was. Steve G
