We stopped here after a walk with friends. We were delighted to find a table for all 8 of us upstairs. Nice relaxed atmosphere here (compared to nearby café) with no pressure for the table. We all had a variety of plates and drinks and all enjoyed our visit. Thank you.

What a gem that we found at the bottom of a long walk! We all ordered delicious rolls - one was bacon, one was Aberdeen angus steak and onion with dijon mayo (a special for £6.95) and one was hot roast pork, stuffing and apple sauce (another special - only £5.95 and one of the nicest sandwiches I’ve ever had, soo much filling and really thick slices of pork!). We picked a hot sausage roll to share which had super flaky pastry and well seasoned sausage meat!
We also ordered cakes because the counter was just so appealing. We picked a slab of rocky road, an apple and blackcurrant slice and a hefty slice of the chocolate fudge cake which came with ice cream. All of these were delicious!
Service was really quick on a Sunday lunchtime and the staff were incredibly friendly. It was also dog friendly which was an added bonus!

Nice little café for lunch , cakes, tea and coffee in the village. Reasonable priced food and drinks. The pasty is really good which is for £3.50. Sandwiches come with crisps and salad for about £5. Tea and coffee is a £3. The chicken nuggets look home-made. On street parking before coming to the village during the week is free. The toilets are around the back of the café. We had a nice lunch here.
