We had a lovely meal here. The food is fantastic, we were served quickly and food arrived quick too. We had our 4 year old grandson with us, we were provided colouring pens, an activity sheet and a hat to colour in. It kept him occupied while we waited. The kids get a 3 course meal for £7.95 which is great value. We had pizza, these were delicious. The staff were very attentive. Good choice on the menu, we enjoyed our meals.

Great food and the staff where really friendly and helpful, especially with two of my family being coeliacs. First time we've been to a pizza express and we'll definitely go back again. Good gluten free options.

Pizza Express in Castleford is one of those places where I know the service will be incredible. Every time me and my partner go for a meal, we are so well look after, everyone greets you with a smile and go above and beyond. Eva served us last time and she was absolutely incredible, honestly could not fault her service. Food is delicious, just a tad on the pricey side but the restaurant is kid friendly and has a generally great atmosphere. Would recommend!

Not a bad pizza, typical run of the mill chain pizza. Quality on par with other pizza chains around. Beer could have been cooler. Daughter enjoyed the pens and hat which were provided to pacify her.

Our go to restaurant! The staff are absolutely incredible and the food is always perfect! Jasmine and another manager (unsure of her name) are so friendly and kind, always making sure the restaurant is ran perfectly. Kyle is the best server you could ask for. Our little girl absolutely loves visiting just to see all the staff! We love our frequent visits!

Looked after well by all the team this evening. I was looking for a warm space while my daughter was at clip and climb. Had a lovely latte and some very spicy dough balls with honey. Lee made me feel cared for without being imposing. What a nice natural way he has about him. Overall more than I was expecting. We'll done all

Ok, first thing is the service we received by Emily was fantastic, I asked many questions about dishes and ingredients she was spot on with this and answered all of them, and checked on us to make sure everything was fine, the wait to the food being served was also good, the food, first off was a calzone which was cooked perfect, it was the vegetarian one, hot and fresh ingredients, I would recommend it, second dish was the linguine, it was nice and spicy not too spicy, the buffalo mozzarella was nice and fresh, but I think the linguine itself could have been better quality, and last off the tiramisu, this is originally what I visited for. It was a good portion size, almost traditional, but I thought it had a little too much coffee or alcohol in it, and the sponge side could have been a bit better. But it was a good one.

Quality of food, service and atmosphere, tbh, 5 stars across the board. But I'm being picky here and still giving it 4 stars for the overall price you pay for what you are getting. Its been a while since we popped into a pizza express and again, quality of the food was lovely, the Nduja calzone is a recommendation for those spice lovers out there, but on average its at least £15 per pizza, £5 per side (and the portions are a little stingy too). Our meal alone, which didn't even have any alcohol was pretty much £45 for 2.

I had a wonderfully 21st century dining experience in this restaurant this evening; from being asked on arrival if I wanted to see the Vegan menu to being seated and asked if I had any allergies or special dietary requirements... I was told that my waitress would be either Beth or Sarah(?) (I never did find out which it was but that didn't affect the quality of the food or service!) then I was given a sensible amount of time to choose my food before an efficient and attentive (if unknown) waitress took my order. I ordered a bottle of Peroni Gran Riserva which was extremely tasty and started with crab arancini (a new menu item) which was delicate and flavoursome, especially with the addition of a squeeze of lemon, and then had a Diavolo pizza (topped with spicy beef, pepperoni, green pepper, Tobasco sauce and a choice of hot pepper - I had roquito) with a side of "broccolini" (tenderstem broccoli roasted with garlic and chilli) which was perfectly cooked with a nice al dente crunch. I mused to myself that the broccolini should have been called "scorpion stems" as it's certainly had a sting in the tale from the chillies (!) and the pizza also knocked me backwards with its warmth, but I got used to it and it was very yummy. I had been expecting sweet roquito pearls but the more firey roquito peppers were a new experience for me. The entire meal was delicious (I cleared every plate) and it was easy to summon service so that I could get my bill and promptly pay and leave. The staff - and especially the chef who took his time to come and explain to me that there was a difference between roquito peppers and roquito pearls, and that they used pearls on the salads. Personally, I think next time if I order another diavolo pizza, I will ask them to hold the Tabasco and swap the peppers for pearls but I can't fault them for something I didn't ask for! Bravo!
