Lovely cafe out the back of the designs gallery shop. Super friendly and attentive staff. Wanted to share a toastie so they split it onto two plates for us - a very nice touch. Have visited again many times with and without friends and will definitely do so again!

Lovely garden with canopies for shade. Designs cafe is much bigger than it looks from the outside with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Food was very tasty, we had lunch with coffee and cake, all excellent. Good gluten free options. Efficient and helpful staff. Very dog friendly with plenty of space between tables. Would definitely go again if in the area.

Lovely lunch. Best Victoria sponge cake I have ever tasted. Friendly staff. Shop above has an amazing selection of books, socks, cuddly toys, psychedelic parrots …. Just go there and see.

Staff are very pleasant and the food and coffee were first class. I can recommend the Kedgeree. Dogs are allowed outside under a covered area.

Great cafe in the high street. Plenty of choice on the menu. Benedicts are nice, as are the toasties. Generally quite busy but we've always managed to get a seat. Service is always friendly but on occasion the food has arrived before the drinks. Definitely worth a visit.
