Nice food always tastes freshly cooked. Menu has a good variety and the staff are always friendly. Have eaten in and used the takeaway services. Nice to say we haven't been disappointed. Good bargains £9.99 for starters, mains, rice and naan. Or try eat all you can on Sunday.
I've been going to chillies for around 3 years now. I can honestly say I've yet to find food for such good value. I've never had a bad meal here and I'm always met with a smile! I would 100% recommend 5*
OK, so the outside of this restaurant is not necessarily appealing, but it is a hidden gem for many reasons. The staff are genuinely very warm, and nothing is ever ridiculous to ask, you don't feel like you're stepping on their toes if you have lots of questions to ask. They can also be as chatty or not so chatty as you like - which is really helpful for those that don't want overbearing staff. The food, aside from being cooked with olive oil (which is a good to know with Indian food), is tasty and the portions are sizeable. It does feel and taste fairly authentic, although the naan can vary depending on the chef - needless to say the price you pay for a 5 course meal is worth it, and you are sure to be eating proper meat and/or fish cuts. Its a shame about the outside of this place, as its quite hidden, but I recommend all to try. Re: hygiene - there is nothing to complain about. I have not been to the toilets, so I cannot comment on that. Its not fine dining as such, so you can't set your standards there, but its given a 5 star on the sheer size, taste, quality of food, and the genuine attention that staff pay to customers.
