One of the few non-chain cafes in Cambridge, with real personality and character, and consistently quality food. Fabulous homemade cakes and other treats, brilliant paninis, and great coffee which is ground on the premises. It does get busy, and service can be slow and impersonal, but those of us who go there regularly forgive those irritations.
In summary: an oasis at the so-called 'wrong' end of Mill Rd. Go there, let yourself eat cake!
The cakes here are absolutely delicious. I had the carrot cake the other day and it was everything I could ever dream of. The coffee was really good as well. It's a small shop, and it was VERY crowded when we first got there, but it cleared up after a couple of minutes and we had no trouble finding seats. The food looks AMAZING, and I am making it my mission to come back for breakfast or brunch sometime soon!
Came in on a recommendation from a friend. Got ran over by a baby pram and trod on a piece of toast but the food was unreal!! Bacon and eggs Benedict.. Awesome.
