The Cambridge Chop House, one of the great restaurants in the Cambscuisine group, is located in the heart of town amongst many of the visitor attractions. However, this ideal location on King’s Parade doesn’t mean it’s a tourist trap. The Cambridge Chop House, a renowned dinner spot, has always consistently delivered excellent food, ambience and service.
There is nothing more British than Sunday roast, and what better place to enjoy this age-old tradition than at the local chop house in the heart of Cambridge? This establishment is a local favourite and serves a wide range of traditional British food, so K and I knew we had to make a visit while we were in town (after a morning of punting of course!). Facing directly across from King’s College Chapel, it was the perfect place to enjoy a lazy Sunday lunch while watching students and tourists alike wandering the streets of Cambridge.
Great service. Ordered the lamb steak with red wine gravy with a side of mashed potatoes, the meat was extremely tender and full of flavour. Would definitely recommend :)
