I absolutely love this place and there are a number of reasons why, all the food tastes superb and is made with quality ingredients. The staff there are friendly, welcoming and the service is great. Whilst the restaurant is not the largest, it is well decorated and has a nice cosy feel to it. All pizzas are cooked in a wood-fired oven in an open kitchen which adds to the authentic experience.
At times the restaurant can fill up quickly, but you can make reservations and if you can't get a table they also do takeaway which is an added bonus. Caerphilly town is lucky to have such a great place to eat, why not treat yourself to a visit you won't regret it.
Pizza was delicious! So was the limoncello cocktail with a scoop of lemon sorbet in it. The chef and waiter were both lovely and really helpful. The chef took the time to explain how he makes the pizza dough when I asked him some questions as I'm just starting to make pizzas at home.
Mama Mia, that is some fine pizza! Absolute first grade pizzas are being made in this little pizzeria in the heart of Caerphilly, and I want to go back to try the different things on the menu. I think one of the reasons the food here is so good is that they use such high-quality ingredients, so even the most simple dishes taste magnificent. Bravo!
