Good pub grub, reasonably priced food that was tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. As an added bonus the onions were home made and I'd recommend getting an extra portion.
Staff were friendly and approachable. No issues with orders and plenty of sauces were provided so no issues there.
Went for lunch on a gloriously hot day. Sat in the garden with my sister and my toddler granddaughter. The food was lovely, and the way they presented the toddlers' pizza was great. It was cut into neat triangles, with sides. Cath was so efficient and helpful, as usual.
My only criticism on the day was that the play apparatus was absolutely scorching and dangerous. The park should have either been closed due to a very hot slide or needed to have a shelter to shade it. Luckily, I tested the slide and stopped the toddler going on. However, this upset her and wasn't fair.
Lovely pub, beautiful food, bargain prices and great indoor and outdoor play area for toddlers/kids. Lovely garden seating too!
