Stumbled in to escape the rain and ended up staying for brunch. Turned out to be one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Perfectly poached eggs, beautiful homemade baked beans and sourdough toast, and the addition of sauteed greens was a brilliant touch. The coffee was lovely, the service was excellent, and the food arrived quickly. Very reasonably priced too - I've paid more for far worse. Strong recommend.
I didn't look at the reviews before going to this place, just thought it would make food and some nice coffee.
I had a lovely meal which was sausage roll with homemade salad.
I am not sure why people are being mean with some comments saying it is written in Welsh and not in English, probably didn't read the menu with the English translation. Btw that is what you get by being in another region where the main language is not English. It's like complaining Italian people not providing an English menu 😑.
Anyhow, the place was great 👍
We have eaten here often and enjoyed every meal. Today's visit was brief, just time for a cuppa.. When I presented the proprietress with a £10 note she didn't have change and insisted that I could pay on my next visit. Luckily, my wife, who was waiting in the car had her debit card so I was able to settle the bill. But I was really impressed with the young lady's trust and generosity. A memorable experience, highly recommended.
