This place keep me and my workmates going whenever we're working in Bury. Good chips, good fish, welcoming friendly staff and a nice place to sit and eat (if you're not always covered head to toe in dirt, like myself).

Grew up around bury in my younger years and always enjoyed a Thompsons chippy. Now live in Cumbria and came back to bury for a days shopping on the market and brought my 3 daughters who have never been before for lunch. They could understand why I insisted this was the only place I wanted to take them. Even after 30 odd years their food is still as amazing. Definitely worth a visit. You will not be disappointed �

Been a few times now... My fave is the wragg pudding...so nice and mum had the cod which looked yummy and mum said it was great... Also service is brilliant and very friendly and th e music played low while in restaurant is great. Will defenetly be visiting again and again. �
