We visit Automatic on a regular basis. The food is always good, the cocktails even better, it has a great atmosphere, but one thing that makes this place is the staff. The staff at Automatic are a credit to the business, they are very welcoming and cannot do enough for you.
We visited on Saturday 17th February and I was so glad I booked a table as when we arrived it was much busier than usual and several people were turned away whilst we dined.
Service was a little slower than usual but on the Saturday after Valentine’s Day I would expect it to be. We opted for the special Valentine’s Menu. We didn’t choose starters as I wanted to be sure that I could fit in a dessert. My husband went for the chicken main and I went for the steak. It was absolutely delicious, compliments to the chef. For dessert we opted for the sharing Tarte Tatin - again delicious. We had a couple of cocktails which were really good, but then they usually are.
It was a very enjoyable evening and a really pleasant change to have a special menu to choose from. We love eating at Automatic but sometimes I must admit we do get a little bored with the menu. Maybe chef might consider doing specials on a more regular basis? I hope the Valentine’s Menu went down as well as was hoped - we certainly loved it.
Fantastic place, great atmosphere especially in the evening, deep house tunes to make it even better. The spinach lasagne was simply delicious. I cant see it in the menu now but was just gorgeous. Best place to have something to eat and to go out for a drink, all at a reasonable price. Absolutely love it !
Visited yesterday with family who live in Bury .
Friendly staff . Our waitress was Ashleigh who was very polite and helpful . Service was prompt . All our food was hot and tasty , especially the homemade tomato/ chilli soup.
The cafe was recommended by my niece and we weren't disappointed 😍
