I had lunch here a few weeks ago when I moved to the village, the food - specially the chips, well all of it was absolutely scrummy. As was the Jack Rabbit red wine, of which I had never tried, but am a huge fan of now. The landlady ; Rachel was extremely welcoming which was also very nice, as were the other staff. Beautiful beer garden - perfect for summer days. Highly recommend this place to both eat and drink at :D
Very nice food, good service, nice proper pub, with a cozy atmosphere, would recommend. Will definitely not be leaving it too long before we return.
Brilliant bank holiday weekend, behind a great pub on a flat field, next to a beautiful stream £9 per night. The Dinner on Sunday, £12.95 for 3 courses, was superb, none of the 8 of us could remember when we had better. Cooked to perfection, nothing shop bought or from a packet. We shall definitely be coming again and will recommend it to our friends
