Anoki Restaurant is now maybe one of my top 5 restaurants in the world to dine. Soon as i walked in my waiter, Akram, treated me like the Prince of India. He didn't look down on me by hiodie and sweatpants attire nor did he judge me because I was dining alone. He was very knowledgeable of all the foods on the menu and smiled often making me feel like we knew each other from elementary school.
Then the big boom - the food! I ordered Spicy King Prwan Madras, Mix Vegetable Karahi, and Pluiel Rice. With Green Tea and water for drinks.
Every bite were like mini orgasm in my mouth. Delicious on top of delicious! Although, I have to watch the amount of food eat because I'm in training for my Maurice film roll. I couldn't stop myself. For a moment in time I lacked the disciple or the internal parenting to make myself put the damn fork down! I had planned on ditching the rice and only eating some of the prawn and veggies and taking the rest back to my hotel room. But by the time I looked up from my plate it was ground zero.
In England no tipping is allowed or included. But for the small moment I was the Prince of India - I had to tip big. I doubled my bill.
Thank you Anoki, Akram, and the rest of the staff.
Well we were travelling home and I found it on TripAdvisor , blew us away very good food excellent food in fact the service towards the end was a bit slow but they had a few large parties arrive . On the white Le excellent food was top shelf
I love Indian food but I’m more of a fish than meat eater which is sometimes limited with Indian food (basically prawns) However, Anoki offer a few different fish dishes, Sea Bass, Salmon, Cod, Prawn...
I ordered the Curry Leaf Cod, OMG it was literally the best curry I have ever tasted. The Cod was moist but meaty, and beautifully spiced with just enough heat. Great service too, it’s a 5 star recommendation from me... Enjoy
