If I could give the Nelson a higher star rating I would..... my partner and I stayed for the night on Thursday. The lady who greeted us on the morning of our arrival was very polite and helpful. She showed us to our room, answered our questions about the area, nothing was too much trouble. The room was ready a couple of hours before check in so we were able to use the room straight away. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean, the beds are super comfy and it felt it felt homely. We had booked in to eat in their restaurant that evening, the lady and gentleman that were working that evening were incredibly friendly, polite and helpful. Even though they were busy they still gave a personal service making sure our food was ok and we had everything we needed. The food and drink are great prices, the portions are HUGE..... my starter would have done me for a main �. After our meal we stayed in the cosy area and had a few more drinks, we felt comfortable and welcome, there was no rush. We opted for the breakfast (which I don't usually do as it's overpriced) but as the price was very reasonable for what was on offer we decided to add it on. You get a huge selection of food from cereal and toast to full English, eggs Benedict and more...... unlimited tea, coffee and juices.
