Great classic fish and chippy with veg and vegan options! The only downside was that veggie options and sauces were maybe a bit steep but, it was worth it to be able to sit down inside and have a decent selection of filling vegan options. Another plus was the sauces come in a good size and last for your entire meal and you get two veggie sausages in a portion. The large portion of chips also definitely did what it said on the tin. The servers were chipper and the chips were proper. Highly recommend.
Good fish and chips, what made the place was the people working there. Friendly staff with good banter.
Great kids menu and a few specials to choose from.
Curry sauce is good
As Fish and Chips go , these were pretty good. The Girl serving was polite and welcoming and helpful.
It's not the most tidy or well decorated eating areas if you want to dine in, but the bench seats are comfy and a welcome bonus if you have to wait awhile for your takeaway order, as we did.
As a customer it's nice to be able to see the kitchen area, but it feels like it too could do with a 'spruce up' and staff could look smarter!
However all that aside , chips were good, perfect if you like them on the dry crispy and fluffy with a bit of bite and the fish was fresh, nicely battered and well cooked, not too greasy, and it was all served in cardboard and paper, good for recycling.
Sauces are £1 but you get a generous pot, but there is a co op near by if you have a family and want to buy a large portion. Chilled cans are also served.
We did have any but the girl said they make a delicious homemade tartar sauce.
Menu has a good selection of fish , along with the usually Chip shop bits.
