Always heaving, fish is huge and tasty chips are always hot and fresh and service always brisk. This is a 5 mile drive for me but has now become my local.

This place probably does the best chips I’ve had since moving from London (18 years ago). My go to fish and chip shop when in the area. I’m knocking off a star only due to them not accepting card(!) payments, not because of COVID worries, more so just the inconvenience it causes me as I don’t carry cash. Comes on guys, stop dodging tax and get a card reader - the ice van takes card payments - ;)
