The new cafe is great and so child friendly. The breakfasts are good value, but the coffee tasted like disinfectant.
Kids loved the basic menu, the over the top bits everywhere else put them off. So refreshing to see just boiled egg and toast.
Had lunch at the cafe today, staff are excellent and food is really nice. My only big complaint is that the air conditioning in this cafe and store, really needs to be addressed. It was absolutely freezing, l had to eat my food with my coat on and the collar turned up. I didn't enjoy my lunch, simply because I was so cold. Most customers had to leave their coats on. Come on tesco Broughton, sort out your air conditioning, or l'm sure customers will go elsewhere. Was lovely to get outside in the warm sunshine to thaw out.
"Outstanding store with top-notch service, vast selection, and excellent prices. A shopping gem!"
Escalator broken so walked up it. Lift at the back of store if you have a trolley. Very large store over two floors. Upstairs clothing, automotive, homewares and cafe. Cafe presentable, bright and clean. Plenty of tables and fabric/wood quite comfy chairs. Just had a cheese & spring onion toastie. The serving staff on till are very efficient, though not over friendly. However the toastie was one of the best I have had. Lots of filling, well cooked & presented and slightly crisp bits of cheese around the edge. Cafe very busy so impressed with the food and service. Only marked down as noticed one server carrying food to a table had 4 plates and one of the buns was resting against his jumper practically under his arm. I would be worried about hair or lint being on food. But, most of the time just serving two plates which is fine. Tables cleaned and sanitised quickly. Would definitely visit again.
Standard English breakfast for about a fiver, can't go wrong, yum yum 🤤
This is the largest Tesco store in the area, and well-stocked. It has a particularly good free-from section, far better than nearby Aldi (non-existent) or even Waitrose in Chester. The store is incredibly busy however, so don't expect to enjoy stress-free shopping unless you visit early in the morning or late at night.
Tesco is on left as driving into Broughton Park while Tesco petrol on right. There is Free parking with disabled bays near Store. Trollies outside and Disabled access Ground floor has Groceries ,Take out Food and Drinks. newspapers, books, Cosmetics etc.1st Floor are Clothes, cafe. There is a Lift and Escalator.
Love shopping here. Bit disappointed that the café was not open in the afternoon though
Nice shop but no longer 24 hours opening so essentially useless to me. I don't want to shop at 9pm with 50 screaming kids. I go at 1am when there is me and tired looking staff only. The removal of this means the removal of me, I can shop 'online' with anyone. As most of my visits are after midnight, I doubt I will see much of this shop again.
Good selection in this Tesco, more than I’ve seen at some of the others in the area.
A standard large Tesco, two floors with food downstairs and household and clothing upstairs. They're suffering a little with some supplier issues, but that's happening everywhere at the moment.
Visited today with my fiance and baby. We popped into the cafe and we were impressed. The customer service from Adrienne was fantastic and our waitress (young lady with dark hair) was very apologetic for the wait even though it took less than 10 minutes. Well worth a visit - prices are very reasonable and the staff are very professional.
