My first Green King roast dinner and it didn't disappoint! I got the roast beef on the bone and cannot get over the potion size! SO much meat!! The Yorkshire pudding was perfect too mmmm. If you're like me and you just love to feel warm and cosy and eat your body weight in food on a Sunday - try the Cross Keys! The staff are so friendly and attentive, I had a really lovely evening :-)
This is a really nice pub, large car park and excellent service. Really nice surroundings to have a meal nicely decorated. Through the front from the car park and pud area to the left and restaurant to the right we were seated straight away and the waiter was attentive without being a nuisance. We both ordered 28 day aged prime sirloin steak, the chips were lovely but the steak was just ok it was cooked well just maybe prime 28 day etc gets your expectations up but had better at cheap chain pubs. The desert caramel banana waffle with chocolate sauce, banana & butterscotch ice cream, whipped cream was absolutely delicious. All in all a really nice pub had a good time and I would definitely go back.

An enjoyable lunch at the Cross Keys. Very attractive outside area, with comfortable seating, and also has a fire pit. The bar and wait staff were very friendly with polite banter. The food was tasty and served quite quickly. Out of Aperol in our visit š so I asked for a Disaronno St. Clements (a drink they were unaware of but happy to put together for me). We sat on a table on the direct route of their deliveries which was a conversation killer for a good 20 mins... Avoid table 80!
