There is no doubt that the food at Waz's Bistro is superb. It is well thought out, fabulously cooked and beautifully presented. The flavours burst on the tongue and my steak (Rare) was cooked perfectly and served with some of the best chips I've ever had. The atmosphere is great. Maybe the music is a bit loud and, when it changed to accordion and cool jazz, it seemed much more appropriate. I love the bar across the far wall - it's a real eye catcher and a great statement. Waz comes around once the kitchen is closed and talks to his customers. This really adds to the experience and he shows his passion for his food in every breath. It's early days in the new venue and I have to say that the only thing that is letting Waz down at the moment is the front of house staff. They are all young and inexperienced and seem to lack basic training. The lack of service was a disappointment. Once this is right, and the team is taught about upselling and are a knowledgeable and as passionate about the food as Waz, this place is going to be hard to beat for many miles around. Has the poor service on the night put us off..? It made us think twice, but the quality of the food means we're coming back for our birthdays in about six weeks. Waz and his food won us over.

What a menu! An array of excellent creations which I hope to have the opportunity to try in the future. I chose the half lobster... The prawns were delicious, the mussels perfectly cooked, served in an amazing edible basket with a tasty, fruit packed Quinoa.... Good wine, quality coffee and a great atmosphere. Waz and his team are amazing hosts and this place has abundant character. I highly recommend! Thank you! Hope to return.

Hmm... I can see how this may not be someone's cup of tea. The restaurant is authentic, the owner is authentic, the food is... fantastic! The atmosphere is probably not intimate but it's personal. Had a sausage as starter (10*) and aubergine as main (8* just a bit too much cheese for me). Next time lobster! 👌☺️ No need to recommend, you already want to come here anyway. Enjoy your visit.

Popped in for a drink as it looked nice from the outside and ended up staying for three or four. The guys who own it were phenomenally friendly and the vibe was brilliant. Even brought us some tasters. Would recommend for sure, and we will be back.

Waz, Wael and Moss were super hospitable into the restaurant, and went over what all foods (and what they were) for the Sunday lunch. The food was excellent! All meats were cooked to perfection, and the choice of options for starters and mains, really allows you to have a nice mix and variety. The waitresses were extremely helpful and friendly, and were always there to help should you need another drink. The restaurant as well is awesome! The overall vibe and decor was very relaxed, easygoing and chilled (which is ideal for a Sunday meal). Would highly reccomend visiting if in the area!

Truely a magical culinary experience that excels in both cuisine and service. To all you winging princess’s who leave bad reviews / get a life you emotionally challenged wombats!. A bad review is an abuse to the hard working team that sacrifice so much each and every shift. You didn’t even have the decency to raise your petty complaints to the team at the time - but yet you still went to the effort, like a predator behind the rock, of striking below the belt. Charming! Nobody really cares about you or your uninformed, spiteful comments. There are hundreds of 5 star reviews that we read and smile. To the team at this amazing establishment keep up the hard work. We appreciate you.
