First time at the Wine Rooms last night with my wife and some friends. Excellent crispy duck bon bons as a starter although my wife was a little underwhelmed by the salad starter. Lamb and steak for mains which were outstanding and I was assured by the ladies that the deserts were equally good. Very attentive service by various members of staff so I didn’t have to wait for an allocated waiter/ waitress which was good. I didn’t feel rushed at any point and if we were not ready we simply told them so and they were fine with that. Great experience, will definitely be going back.

Came here for some birthday celebrations and it was lovely, food was great, I had the most amazing cheese soup and they even came out with my dessert with the birthday chorus. Sightly embarrassing but very lovely nevertheless. It's best to park opposite as there is no parking at the wineroom but it is in a perfect location.

Lovely wine bar with a beautiful backdrop. Amazing owners and staff that are really helpful with which wine should accompany your meal. Amazing cocktails, wine list to die for and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely coming back here! Book over weekends to be on the safe side as it's highly in demand.

A very nice atmosphere here and a good selection of wines and beers. The staff are helpful and more than willing to offer you samples if you're not sure what to have. The roof terrace is a really nice place to sit and chill out. Ive not tried any, but they do serve some food, more sharing plates than full meals. All in all a very pleasant evening!

Had a couple of good night's here with friends and work colleagues. The surroundings are lovely and we are looking forward to eating on the rooftop restaurant in the summer. Made a few mistakes with the allergy requirements but I'm sure this will get sorted. Will return. Lovely to see a restaurant like this in Bromsgrove it's been a long wait !

Christmas eve meal, was absolutely excellent. Service was beyond fantastic, as was the food. One tiny improvement for next time, the fondant potato could have done with an extra 5 minutes in the pan and maybe an extra pinch of salt. Otherwise faultless.

Lots of positives, a mature crowd, classy surroundings with an unpretentious atmosphere. Drinks selection is top drawer with wonderful cocktails and (for me) a decent choice of whiskey. Not tried the menu but certainly will at the next opportunity. Only issue I can see is the lack of space and the possibility of drinkers encroaching your space while eating.

Lovely ambience, very efficient, warm welcoming staff who offer great service. The upstairs balcony gives great views of the area. The food is delicious and good menu choice. Vast and varied drinks menu. All served with a smile.

Great wine menu, fresh handpicked ingredients from local farmers for the seasonal food menu, brilliant ambiance, nice touch on the little features around the venue and best of all outstanding service! It was a great find an random drive to the area. All 4 fours owners were present and meet-and greeted us at some point, it was lovely.

Of its type: family bistro; excellent. Consistent quality and (relatively) value. Good service. Can be very busy over weekends, so booking essential. One of the best family restaurants in the area. Easy parking opposite.

With the name ‘St John’s Wine Rooms’ we had to give it a try! We weren’t disappointed, it’s a very nice bar with plenty of room on three different levels. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. If the weather’s nice it’s very relaxing sitting out on the astroturf balcony watching the world go by. They have a good selection of Beers, Wines, Spirits and Cocktails. The food menu also looks good, we’re looking forward to trying it in the near future.
