Visited this place first time and I had deep fried soft shell crabs and chips. The sauce I picked at first was garlic but the staff recommended miso mustard sauce and he was right. Miso mustard sauce went very well with the crabs & chips. So delicious I would say. The chips were super tasty. I came back to get squid and chips for a second round but was attacked by the seagull. The bird hit me at my shoulder and I startled then dropped squids on the ground. The bird got them. Anyway, I love their chips and soft shell crabs. Will come back again on my next visit to Broadstairs.

Fish and chips bar of the adjacent Wyatt and Jones restaurant. Short and efficient menu: SeaFood & Frites. Delicious squid tempura and fries. Check your order on collection. Beware of seagulls when you reach the beach.

2021 during lockdown: I'm giving it 4 stars because there's no option for 4.5 stars. The fish was amazing, the fries were great - but the wait was long and the food very very salty.
