Our first visit and we were impressed. The lovely waitress explained the specials and there was a really comprehensive list of teas and other delights. My husband had the Kentish huffkin with charcoal cheese and tomato and I had a cheese scone. We followed this with a cream tea (for him) and an ice cream (for her). Everything was delightful and we'll definitely return. I've recommended Bessie's to all my friends and I recommend it to you, too.

Delicious afternoon tea. Booked for 3 adults and a child’s afternoon tea. Lovely range of fresh, tasty sandwiches, amazing array of exceptional cakes, huge scones and a divine posset. The child’s tea was almost as large as the adults and was perfect...every crumb was consumed. All served in this gem of a Tea Parlour. We all loved it and will definitely return and recommend to all.

Today myself and my friend attended the Beauty & The Beast Afternoon Tea, and I cannot fault it at all. Amazing food, Tea & the staff are so welcoming too! To top it all off, I won the raffle & I won a beautiful cake. Thank you Bessie’s! xx
