Held a wake here. We would highly recommend. The food was lovely and there was plenty of it. Not expensive either. Really cosy pub with the open fire roaring. Lots of space for the family to sit and relax. Really hard working staff looked after us all day. Thank you very much Lucy and Gary.xx

I never go out of my way to leave reviews.... but..... We were meeting family for a quick drink on Saturday. I didn't relish the idea of going home to cook so asked the helpful staff if there was any availability at such short notice to eat in the restaurant? They had no problem catering for our party of 6. We were seated in the conservatory, which was very light and comfortable. We ordered gourmet burgers at £10 which were HUGE, the George Grill and some steak, all of which were perfectly cooked to requested preference and generous portions. Can't comment on desserts as we didn't get that far on this occasion. The staff were very attentive without being pushy. We will definitely be going back for more :)

Two friends and I went for dinner on Wednesday evening - we were all very impressed with the food! 2 of us chose the sea bass with risotto - the risotto was absolutely delicious and the fish cooked perfectly! Will definitely be back! �
