a good place to stop off for a bite of lunch on the way home. noticed that they do breakfast, so might drop in on the way out. the bubble and squeak was tasty as was the game pie which has black pudding and a pastry topping which we could not work out what kind it was, but tasted nice.
also on the menu was Sunday roast, which is worth investigating later.
update October 2022:
stopped off for breakfast, after a bit of grocery top up, needed to keep my coat on this time, but at least the food was nice and hot, not to mention also tasty.
I noticed ham,egg and chips on the lunch menu, which starts at anytime, so will have that the next time I visit.
Stopped in here on the off chance, we'd been to the farm shop and fancied a drink. Ended up with meals from their specials board and so please we chanced it. Both meals plentiful and full of taste, amazing value.
Just noticed the sign and popped in for Breakfast. We were not disappointed, a lovely freshly cooked breakfast, toast and marmalade all washed down with a pot of tea - I managed 3 cups out of a pot - friendly, attentive staff, dogs welcome too.
Very quiet this morning and not the easiest to find, but worth hunting down.
We will be back.
