In response to Patric review. May I just say that your comments about the Manager was not called for & totally unfair. The shop was short staffed as someone had phoned in at start of shift to say they couldn't come in. The Manager gos above and beyond her job description to run the shop. Often doing well over her appointed hours, making sure each and every staff member takes all their breaks, disregarding her own on a Daily basis. Many businesses are short staffed and feeling the pressure but to make make unfounded and horrible comments isn't fair

It's Greggs. Food always fresh and hot. Very busy store. Best value bacon bap and tea around.
I would have given it 3 stars (because the chicken sq were already sold out, even though it was just under an hour after opening on Sat morning). The reason I still give it 4 stars is for the positivity of the staff... there were only two; a woman that seemed to be the supervisor and a young man. There was a cue of customers all the way to the front door. Alot of hot stuff was sold out, but even if they had to put more stuff in the ovens, make more sandwishes AND serve customers, they were still polite and surpricingly 'calm' while dealing with us customers. Any retail unit (food or non-food) would be proud to have those two working for them. The reason for not providing a 5th star has to do with whoever the manager/ frenchisee is, THAT person is clearly unfit for his/her job by not providing more than the two staff at such a busy time. For the time I was in there, Greggs missed sales of 2 chicken sq for me, 4 beef sq for the person in front of me, 1 bacon twist-thing for the woman behind me... and that was just while I was in the store. My guess is that Greggs lost £100s in lost sales, due to lack of staffing, before another batch of hot food came out...
